A relaxed, contemplative Australian Shepherd named Grace Slick, a senior citizen's best friend

They say it’s a dry heat in Arizona, and it’s a dry sense of humor that my dad and first-time author Dave Slick brings to the table in God, Geezers, and Golf. After graduating from Arizona State University with a pre-dinosaur-era degree in electrical engineering, Dave spent nearly 50 years working in the energy industry. Which means he spent way too much time on the computer and the phone, and not enough time playing ball with me and my predecessors. Dave is an avid, albeit unskilled, golfer. Trust me, I’ve seen his swing. He and my mom Denise began attending Red Mountain Community Church in Mesa, Arizona, in 2003, where dad has led the senior adult ministry for most of the past twenty years. All I know is that they leave for a few hours every Sunday morning, and I’m left to ponder celestial matters from my favorite spot on the couch.

Hey, do I get a treat now?

PS They told me to say most of that stuff. I have no idea what a dinosaur is.

Next Book?

Given my on-going responsibilities and other major projects that I am presently dealing with, I have not yet embarked on developing another novel.
